Safeguarding at Lowfield

At Lowfield Primary School, safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to providing a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment where every child is protected, valued and able to thrive. Our staff share a strong belief that safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, and we work proactively to ensure that pupils feel safe, know how to seek help, and are confident that adults will listen.

Our Designated Safeguarding Lead and Deputy DSLs are always available to support children, families and staff. We work closely with parents, carers and external agencies to ensure that concerns are responded to swiftly and effectively.

Safeguarding at Lowfield includes child protection, online safety, safer recruitment, behaviour and wellbeing, attendance, health and safety, and child‑on‑child abuse. Through our curriculum, assemblies and wider provision, pupils learn how to stay safe, build healthy relationships and make informed choices.

Our aim is simple: to ensure every child feels safe, supported and able to flourish.
