There are occasions when we wish to take children on outings connected with their work in school. We do not have the financial resources in school to pay for the total cost of these visits. In accordance with the 1988 Education Act, we would wish parents to make voluntary contributions to enable such visits to go ahead.

Individual children will not be prevented from taking part in visits during school time if payment is not forthcoming. It may however, be necessary to cancel the activity if insufficient voluntary contributions are received
