Dear Parents and Carers,
Welcome to Lowfield Primary School Website. We are very proud of our school and aim to ensure that it is a secure, inclusive and caring environment where everyone is valued and respected. We work hard to ensure all our pupils are well cared for and given every opportunity to achieve their very best. In 2016 we were well above the national average for the progress our pupils made in maths (10% of schools) and above the national average for the progress our pupils made in reading and writing (10% of schools).
We are committed to providing a stimulating and motivating learning environment, one that equips and prepares our pupils for the 21st Century. We believe that everyone in our school should enjoy their learning and feel proud of their achievements. To fulfil this, we provide a broad and balanced curriculum which gives equal value to developing children's academic, social, physical and spiritual understanding. Our aim is to prepare every pupil so that they can make a positive contribution to British society and that they can function in the fast changing world in which they find themselves. Through fostering a lifelong love of learning, we hope to help our pupils to live full and happy adult lives.
We truly value the relationship we have with our parents and carers and recognise that effective partnerships are essential in raising standards. We apperciate and value the support our families give us and the role they play in enriching our pupil's experiences and supporting their child's education. Parents and carers are always welcome to come into school to help or to discuss their child's progress or any matters of concern.
The purpose of this website is to inform current and prospective parents and carers about the life of our school; its ethos, aims and values. We hope the site will be useful and enjoyable to view and you will visit it on a regular basis.
Please contact the school if you require any further information not on the website or would like to visit the school. Visits are most warmly welcome.
