Dear Parents and Carers,
You will have heard the Prime Minister, last night indicating that the government believes it may be in a position to implement a phased re-opening of schools from 1st June, starting with pupils in reception, year one and year six. This is part of the government's conditional plan which it says will remain under regular review. I am writing to you today to reassure you that we want to get all our pupils back into school as soon as it is safe to do so, however our first priority has to be the safety of everyone in the school community.
I am sure you will have many questions for us regarding how the reopening will work. However like you, we have only just seen the announcement and that at this stage we are waiting to receive more information from the government, over the coming days, about what this means for our school.
At the moment therefore nothing has changed. School is open for a limited number of children and we will continue to put work on our website and our Twitter feed. Please be assured that we will provide further information about this developing situation just as soon as we are able to do so.
Please take care of yourselves and your families, stay safe and we will see you soon.
Which staff members can you spot in the video message from all the staff at school. Read the messages.

14th April 2020
Dear Parents and Carers,
Welcome back to the start of the Summer Term (!) in these strange circumstances. I just wanted to let you know what is happening here at school during the Covid -19 crisis and to reassure you that we will get back to normal just as soon as we possibly can.
Currently school remains closed to all pupils, except for a small number of identified children. If your child has been allocated a place in our reduced provision you will have received a text from us. However Government advice remains the same i.e. families should keep their children at home, wherever possible and that schools are only open for children who absolutely have to attend.
Each day the school is run by a small number of staff, but most staff are working from home, so that they too keep safe and well.
We are constantly updating our website and our Twitter feed with ideas and activities for you to enjoy with your children so please check these places regularly. We are also happy for you to send us information on what you have been up to – we might be able to share some of this too, so if you have done anything unusual or you have some good ideas for things to do then please let us know.
The office staff are currently sorting out Government vouchers for Free School Meals for children who are entitled to them; we will get these to you as soon as we can – please contact school if you have any questions about this or anything else.
Please take care of yourselves and your families, stay safe and we will see you soon

Please read and fill in the letters regarding latest information for parents about Covid-19 and school closures.
By now, you will have seen the government's announcement that schools will be closing at
the end of the day on Friday and not reopening for the foreseeable future. Schools however, will remain open for the children of “key workers” (though who this is, is yet to be defined) and for
vulnerable children. When we know exactly who this means we will let you know.
The situation is changing rapidly - we will keep you informed as much as we can via text, Twitter and our website. Work packs are now available from the school office for all our pupils. These and other additional resources are also available on our website.

Dear Parents and Carers,
Welcome to our Website. We hope you find the information you require but if you can't see what you are looking for please email us and we will do all we can to answer your query as quickly as we can.
We are a National Support School and are very proud of our school; we aim to ensure that it is a secure, inclusive and caring environment where everyone is valued and resected. We work tirelessly to ensure all our pupils are well cared for and are given every opportunity to achieve their very best. In 2018 we were, once again, in the top 10% of all schools nationally for the progress our pupils made between KS1 and KS2.
We are committed to providing a stimulating and motivating learning environment, one that equips and prepares our pupils for life in the 21st century. We believe that everyone in our school should enjoy their learning and feel proud of their achievements. To fulfil this, we provide a broad and balanced curriculum which gives equal value to developing children's academic, social, physical and spiritual understanding. Our aim is to prepare every pupil so that they can make a positive contribution to British society and that they can function in the fast changing world in which they find themselves. Through fostering a lifelong love of learning, we hope to help our pupils live full and happy adult lives.
We truly value the relationship we have with our parents and carers and recognise that effective partnerships are essential in raising standards. We appreciate and value the support our families give us and the role they play in enriching our pupil's experiences and supporting their child's education. Parents and carers are always welcome to come into school to help or to discuss their child's progress or any matters of concern.
The purpose of this website is to inform current and prospective parents and carers about the life of our school; its ethos, aims and values. We hope the site will be useful and enjoyable to view and you will visit it on a regular basis.
Please contact the school if you require any further information not on the website or would like to visit the school. Visits are most warmly welcome.
